Maruti Evitara Electric SUV black colour spied In India

In a significant update before its release, the Maruti Suzuki eVitara electric SUV has been spotted without camouflage on public roads for the very first time. The recent spy photos, taken just outside Maruti’s Gurgaon facility, provide a clear view of the final design of the company’s inaugural fully electric vehicle, representing an important milestone in its testing process.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara Launch :
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, originally anticipated to debut in March 2025, has now been postponed to September 2025. This delay is significant as it involves a key material for electric motors. Additionally, the company has lowered its production forecasts for the model in the financial year 2026.

Global Ambitions and Feature
Maruti Suzuki is marketing the eVitara as a worldwide electric SUV, which will be made in India and sent to more than 100 countries, including Europe and Japan.
It will be packed with top-notch features like:

10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment – 10.25-inch digital MID – Fixed glass sunroof – Harman sound system – Ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and wireless charging – Safety technology will feature 7 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring, and all-wheel disc brakes.

Range and Powertrain Options Features
The eVitara will come with two battery pack choices – 49 kWh and 61 kWh, both utilizing LFP chemistry provided by BYD. The larger battery pack is anticipated to provide a range of approximately 500 km. There will be options for both 2WD and AWD variants, with the AWD model featuring Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow driving modes.

Launch Timeline India 2025
The eVitara is set to be launched later this year, with its production and exports being handled at Maruti’s Gujarat facility, which will also manufacture the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, a badge-engineered variant of the same model. Bookings in India are anticipated to start as we approach the launch date.

These new undisguised spy images indicate that Maruti is getting closer to one of its most significant product launches to date. The eVitara is expected to make waves in India’s expanding EV SUV market, which is currently led by Tata, Hyundai, and MG. Keep an eye out for more updates, including interior images and official specifications, as the launch date approaches.
