Tata Harrier EV launch Date! Battery Capacity, Specifications And Power

The range of electric vehicles in the Indian market is poised for rapid growth as numerous brands join the fray. Tata Motors is among the key players in this expansion. The Indian automaker has several electric vehicle models lined up for future release. One of these is the Tata Harrier.ev, anticipated to debut in the early months of 2025. Prior to the official announcement, some details about the electric SUV have emerged online.

Previously, rumors suggested that the Tata Harrier.ev would likely be equipped with a 60 kWh battery, promising a range of 500 km. However, a report from TeamBHP has confirmed that the electric SUV will indeed feature a 75 kWh battery pack. Additionally, it will include a dual-motor configuration that will enable an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, likely available in the 'Empowered' trim. The report further indicates that the Harrier.ev is currently in production.

The previous spy images of the Tata Harrier.ev indicated that its design will closely resemble that of the ICE version. Additionally, it is expected to maintain the same silhouette as the fossil fuel-powered model. Nevertheless, there will be features that are exclusive to the BEV. For example, the stylish LED DRLs will be paired with a closed grille. The headlamp housing will match that of the ICE version, while the bumper will have slight variations.

The rear section of the EV will also mirror the design of the ICE version. It will feature a light strip that spans the width of the vehicle. Furthermore, it is anticipated to include a redesigned rear bumper. The brand is also introducing new aerodynamic 19-inch alloy wheels, a trend we've observed in other models from the brand as well.

The Tata Harrier.ev is anticipated to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the EV's launch date. Once it is released, it will go head-to-head with competitors like the Mahindra XEV 9e.
